Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop, lead and manage the QA/QC team and confirm compliance of all projects to the overall quality management system, procedures, policies and standards.
  • Prepare and implement a project inspection strategy to cover all project phases. Inspect construction works and compare those works with drawings and specifications.
  • Measure and quality checking building materials to ensure compliance with all project specifications.
  • Confirm material and other testing is in compliance to internationally accepted guidelines. Supervise the effective implementation of all test and inspection schedules, and ensure adherence to all procedures and coordinate with various teams to perform quality audits on processes
  • Identify defects and suggest ways to correct them.
  • Confirm that QA/QC documents (including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site
  • instruction/observations, permanent materials delivered, and other important QA/QC documents) have been prepared, assembled or collected by the project team.
  • Implement preventive measure and corrective action for non-conforming project elements and components.
  • Manage all work methods and maintain knowledge on all quality assurance standards and monitor continuous application for all quality assurance processes and recommend corrective actions for all processes.
  • Demonstrate implementation, documentation & monitoring experience in the development & application of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001.
  • Implement and manage a project audit program, including the preparation of monthly reports to evaluate performance.

Essential Education:

  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration,
  • Audit, Engineering or related fields

Essential Criteria:

  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience in a similar role
  • Quality control certification
  • Practical knowledge of the key areas of ISO quality management system
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken in Azerbaijani and English languages
  • Data analysis and statistical aptitude
  • Strong planning & organizational skills
  • Strong focus on problem solving, troubleshooting, solutions
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills

Desirable Criteria:

  • Master degree in Business Administration, Audit,
  • Engineering or related fields.
  • Solid track record from Construction Industry with in-depth understanding of industry standards
