Senior Warehouseman

Key accountabilities:

• Perform warehouse audit, planned and otherwise.  Ensure accuracy of inventory.
• Competent in minimum stock levels
• Compile and review warehouse reports from job sites and prepare weekly summary.
• Travel to sites and do visual inspection of the facilities and records
• Create procedures for in/out of the job sites and coordinate with security
• Review paper forms and electronic warehouse records. Create and implement standard records.
• Control instrumentation and tools on sites, their return and repair
• Create tracking system for scaffolding and formwork
• Take part in accepting and placing in proper storage of valuable cargo
• Create a locator system (in the building on the yard)
• Keep track of scrap metal, and waste services
• Organize “proof of delivery” to accounting and procurement
• Create cement and rebar purchase projections

Required skills/experience:

• Have at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to manage at least 10 people and know the “tricks of the trade”
• Experience as a construction warehouseman
• Experience managing multiple remote sites
• Exposure to scattered sites in Baku and Gusar (Shahdagh)
• Good knowledge of MS Office – excel with formulas is a must.
• Proficiency in Azerbaijani, English (Russian is advantage) – need to understand and describe products.
• Certification in Warehouse Management is an advantage
• Working overtime upon request
• Work ethics and verifiable impeccable record, ability to lead by example.
