Role and Responsibility:

• Advocate organization's official position in legal and legislative proceedings;
• Evaluate the effectiveness of laws, regulations, policies, standards, or procedures;
• Ensure implementation of legal acts on cyber security and protection of personal data;
• Interpret and apply laws, regulations, policies, standards, or procedures to specific issues;
• Propose amendments to legal acts;
• Prepare legal and other relevant documents;
• Evaluate the impact of changes to laws, regulations, policies, standards, or procedures;
• Analyse data protection, privacy, and cybersecurity issues and provide legal advice;
• Stay updated on the latest legal and regulatory developments in the information security landscape, and advise on the impact of these laws and regulations;
• Implement procedures to properly identify alleged violations of laws, regulations, or policies;
• Resolve conflicts in laws, regulations, policies, standards, or procedures:
• Provide support to the technical staff with respect to application of legislative acts.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in law with minimum 2 years of relevant experience;
• Knowledge of cybersecurity policies, procedures, and regulations;
• Knowledge of GDPR and other frameworks related to data protection and privacy;
• Knowledge of national and international laws, regulations, policies and frameworks related to cybersecurity;
• Evaluate contracts to ensure compliance with functions of organization;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to be able to interact with governmental, technical, business counterparts;
• Have an experience of preparation of legislative acts$
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills (additional languages will be a plus).
