CS and PS Technologies Engineer

Accountabilities:

Co-ordination and support of corporate strategy projects implementation. Preparation of feasibility analyses and evaluation of technical solution. Preparation and implementation of technology strategy plan. Short term and long term subscribers and traffic forecast planning and periodical revision. Evaluation of impact to CAPEX and ОРЕХ budget.Technical Product Management (e. HW and SW products and roadmaps management). Adjusting Network structure in pursuit of technological development and in accordance with investment strategy. Evaluation of Network development and new solution that should be applies for smooth achievement of company strategy. Technical investigation of solutions that aimed to increase income or decrease ОРЕХ. After, applied to the network. Preparation of technical task, RFP preparation and tender management. Support Contract preparation. Creation of Network Quality management and reporting eco system. Definition of NW quality KPIs and further following this targets with operational teams. For new products that will join the network will determine the performance criteria and measuring principles. New Technologies trials and technical evaluation management.

Education:

Bachelor or Master’s Degree at Telecommunication field, Computer Science

Languages:

English, Russian, Azerbaijan

Computer Skills:
 
Word, Excel, Outlook, SQL/PL SQL, PHP, Perl, Shell, – Advanced, Solaris 10 Administration, Oracle DB Administration - intermadiate

Abilities:

Outstanding knowledge of GSM Network topology, nodes hardware and software structure, hardware configuration and capacity dimensioning of main nodes and its functions (MSC/HLR/BSC/SGSN/GGSN/BTS). Working experience in node configuration, knowledge of MML commands.
Outstanding knowledge of SS7 network and SIGTRAN. Deep understanding of signalling message flows
Advanced user of Oracle DB/MySQL (e.g SQL queries user)
Advanced Shell programming user
Advanced Project management experience
Experience in reparation of RFPs, RFIs. Tender management.
IP/MPLS Network high level and low level design
IP Network advanced knowledge
Routing protocols advanced knowledge
Switching advanced knowledge
Routers and switches hardware advanced knowledge
Campus Network design knowledge
LAN/WAN technologies advanced knowledge
Wireless design knowledge
Structure Cable Systems design knowledge
