Commercial Specialist - Job Description & Key Responsibilities:

• Develop a strong understanding of the nature of works in connection with project requirements
• Preparation RFPs and Tendering of Sub-Contractors as per Drawings and Specifications
• Negotiations, review and preparation of Contracts for Sub-Contractors
• Negotiations, review and preparation of Interim Payment Certificates along with Progress Reports
• Negotiations, review and agreement of Change Orders/ Variation Order for Sub-Contractors
• Review, analyze and preparation of Claim Change/ Variation Orders to Client
• Preparation and execution of Contract Amendments for Subcontractors and Client’s Contracts
• Preparation and execution of Final Accounts
• Review and approval of Purchase Requests to Project Procurement Specialist based on Project requirements and procured Sub-Contractors to make sure that double orders are avoided
• Develop strong working partnerships with other functions (Construction, Design, Architects, Procurement, Sales, Finance, Logistics, Customs, Warehouse etc.) to enable effective communication, on-time responses, improved information flow to support project requirements in terms of budget and execution.
• Investigates potential Subcontractors to determine if they meet the specified project requirements
• Analyzes and resolves any of a wide variety of problems encountered through coordination with Internal team and Client representatives.
• Arrangement signature and stamp execution of Contracts and Payments Certificates.
• Archive and storage project related commercial documentation both in hard and soft copy.

Skills

• Ability to read drawings and layouts is required with basic knowledge of AutoCAD functions as a benefit.
• Language skills: Azerbaijani (fluent), English (fluent), Turkish (good) and Russian (good).
• Personal skills: Attentive to details, Negotiation skills, Team worker
• A bachelor's degree or higher.
• 3-4 years of experience in construction industry
• Excellent communication, organizational and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of tracking, planning, scheduling,
• Knowledge of construction tools and equipment.
• Must be proficient with MS Office applications.
• Understanding of contract terminology, competitive bids, purchase orders, and vendor relationship management
• Ability to work well with a team
• Meeting Deadlines
• Able to work and thrive in a high-stress and fast-paced environment
