Job Purpose: Maintain production and quality by ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment.

Duties:

• Participate in the loading/offloading operations, handling services at the operation sites or any other designated area as a member of the crew of laborers/slingers. 
• Follow the instructions of the Service Manager and comply with the requirements of the designated task and applicable safe systems of work and HSE standards.
• Operate the forklift truck of the required capacity at the operations sites or any other designated area in full compliance with the designated task and applicable safe systems of work, speed limitations and HSE standards.
• Perform other tasks as may be required by the Yard Supervisor or Operations Coordinator. 

Skills/Qualifications:

• Manual Handling Training
• Forklift Operating Training
• HSE related Training
• Ability to communicate and be a team member
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to identify priorities, co-ordinate resources and manage the performance of operations activities.
• Manual Handling Training;

• A minimum of 2-3 years related experience in industry;
• HSE related training;
• Ability to communicate and be a team member;
• Ability to identify priorities, co-ordinate resources and manage the performance of operations activities;
• Thorough understanding of HSE requirements & behavior.
