Responsibilities

• Carrying out preparatory work and monitoring the process of organizing international double degree programs in higher education institutions of the Republic of Azerbaijan together with partner foreign higher education institutions;
• Checking the selection of parties, specialties, and levels of education following the relevant Rules;
• Developing a mechanism for monitoring the quality of academic activities of foreign faculty, and evaluating the results of the educational process in the condition of the cooperation with higher education institutions;
• Making suggestions regarding the organization of the educational process in higher education institutions where international double degree programs are implemented, taking into account international experience;
• Creating scientific groups considering joint participation of local/foreign faculty and talented students, coordinating preparation process of the scientific research programs and preparing reports based on that;
• Preparing mechanisms for forecasting the number of students who will study at the expense of own and state funds within the framework of international double degree program yearly;
• Developing a mechanism for the future sustainability of the program based on the forecast.

Requirements

• University degree in Education, Project management, or related field of study;
• Prior work experience as a project specialist or a similar position in the field;
• Highly developed communication skills in both oral and written, fluency in Azerbaijani and English;
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies;
• Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management;
• Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control in the field;
• Ability to monitor budgets;
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team;
• Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
