Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Follow up the implementation of Minimum Security Requirement and update it quarterly.
• Support and document the risk analysis exercise, Lesson’s learned and incident as necessary.
• Monitor and report the impact of mitigation measures.
• Develop a thorough understanding of ICRC security framework and standards.
• Develop a thorough understanding of Red Cross & Red Crescent Movement (RC/RC) guidelines on risk awareness and safer behaviour and ensure their implementation.
• Provide briefing, training and support to ICRC and RC/RC Movement staff and volunteers.
• Monitor, analyse and evaluate security environment to improve our alert and reaction capacity.
• minutes and follows lessons learned of incident

Desired Profile and Skills

• University degree with 5 years’ work experience, with 3y in relevant field such as Security, Safety or Risk management.
• Exposure to international environment is a strong added advantage.
• Need to have a very good command of English & Azerbaijani, written and oral communication skills, creating succinct reports, minutes and summaries. Fluency in Russian is an added value (other international languages also benefit)
• High level of computer literacy (especially in Microsoft and other online meeting tools).
• Ability to maintain accuracy, to meet deadlines and to work calmly under pressure.
• Ability to establish effective working relationships with different hierarchy level, in different department together targeting common outcome in terms of risk reduction.
• Capacity to treat sensitive & confidential information with utmost discretion and maintain confidentiality
• Having done a HEAT training is desired but being a HEAT trainer would be considered a very strong asset.
• Knowledge of Red Cross and Crescent movement scope of activities.
