AMEC is a major Engineering and Construction Company involved in Oil and Gas Projects in Azerbaijan is looking for HSE Trainer.
The successful candidates should have:
• NEBOSH International Certificate or equivalent.
• Experienced HSE Trainer in developing training materials & delivery.
• Ability to plan outcomes-based training events; write effective training materials using multimedia; deliver appropriate & effective training & assessment of learning.
• Has had formal training as an instructor, holds a Certificate or Diploma in Training Methodology & Practice
• Preferred languages Azerbaijani, English, Russian
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out the following activities:
• Control hazardous working conditions and unsafe employee activities through safety management and contacting supervisory personnel.
• Play a primary role in providing guidance, support and advice regarding SHE issues to the project.
• Responsible for processing of accident/incident reports, updating and issue of action tracking register and follow up on close-out,, identify any trends and ensure that there is an appropriate response to prevent future recurrence.
• Promptly alert line and functional management to significant accidents and incidents. Where appropriate to be involved in the investigation and ensure that the findings are reported.
• Participating in internal, external and self audits as necessary and produce self audit schedules.
• Compiling monthly status reports for project and corporate HSEQ.
• Co-ordinate project HSEQ inductions maintain list of personnel inducted and conduct HSEQ induction for new starts as necessary.
• Maintain training matrix for HSEQ training.
• Organisation of Emergency Response rota and personnel for emergency drill.
• Coordination and maintenance of COSHH information.
• Make regular SHE inspection and audits to onshore activities
• Knows KPI structure and communicates ongoing KPI performance.
• Identify any raise areas of SHE risk to line management.
• Develop and maintain proactive relationships with BP HSE advisors.
• Delivery of the annual SHEQ audit plan.
• Provide support for issues relating to compliance with “Getting HSE Right”.
• Monitor and report on operational SHE performance and make recommendations for improvement. Monitor to ensure that effective action is taken.
• Lead and provide functional management for any SHE personnel under their control.
• Assist with the identification of SHE training needs, and monitor delivery and recording.
• Produce SHE performance reports as required.
