AMEC is a major Engineering and Construction Company involved in Oil and Gas Projects in Azerbaijan is looking for Electrical Engineer.

The successful candidates should have:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Relevant experience in oil and gas industry (Offshore and Onshore) with comprehensive hands-on experience in all the fields of Electrical Engineering.
• Experienced with electrical engineering design computer programs and general office software.
• Good technical team and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions in planning, organizing and coordinating the development of solutions to complex problems.
• Experience with worldwide electrical equipment suppliers, in particular those involved in major oil and gas facilities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out the following activities:

• Provide technical expertise on all engineering subject matter pertaining to Electrical Engineering and design, including generation, distribution and control; specification and design of transformers, switchgear, motors and motor protection and control, etc.
• Perform regular and timely technical reviews of Electrical Engineering deliverables developed by FEED consultant/contractor, ensuring electrical design optimization in compliance with relevant codes, standards and best practices.
• Work closely with FEED consultant/contractor to minimize formal review cycle and ensure efficient production of FEED documentation.
• Review and approve FEED consultant/contractor work and ensure compliance with UZ750 FEED contract, project specifications, relevant codes and standards, design philosophy and best practices.
• Review and approve construction materials selection, cable tray, supports, routing, etc.
• Review of construction/installation methods/procedures proposed during FEED; modularization, electrical buildings internal layouts, etc.
• Participate in site surveys of facilities and liaison with Operations to establish and identify actual requirements of Brownfield part of the project.
• Provide technical guidance to develop new specifications and update existing specifications.
• Perform calculations for design validation and optimization, as required.
• Provide electrical engineering expertise in the development and analysis of various design options.
• Ensure document review cycles are completed within the contractual limits, both for electrical documents and for other discipline documents which require electrical input.
