Basic Function:

To ensure the effectiveness of the contractor’s quality system and the total implementation of the relevant quality control procedures, inspection and test plan, supervision and monitor the processes to eliminate causes of unsatisfactory performance in order to achieve project objectives.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Approval of defined quality documents and records submitted at site.
• Monitor contractor’s activities to ensure that the requirements of the project are met and are aligned with Company GPO requirements.
• Assist in the development and implementation of Project Quality Plan and Project Procedures as required.
• Select, assign and supervise QA/QC personnel as required for audit, inspection and reporting activities at site and call off to Vendors as required.
• Provide qualified technical advice and assistance to projects and construction group, concerned with the attainment of quality.
• Chair weekly QA/QC meetings with contractors, report to EWI Delivery Manager and highlight any concerns.
• Monitor and report on QA/QC noncompliance trends and report same weekly/monthly summaries to EWI Delivery Manager and Project QA/QC Manager at Leatherhead.
• Identify the training needs of all personnel involved in activities associated with Special process.
• Ensure that the QA/QC team is fully aware of the HSE requirements for the project.
• Assist HSE & Perform ASA and Stop Cards requirements
• Ensuring the implementation and maintenance of the quality policy.
• Ensuring that construction contractors, Vendors and Suppliers have quality management systems in place to ensure that the quality requirements will be satisfied.
• Reviewing and approving quality plans and supplier’s ITP’s for purchased equipment, materials, fabrication, transportation and construction subcontractor’s ITP’s to control the quality activities at the fabrication yard and construction site.
• Ensuring that a well defined Preservation system is implemented and audited.
• Implementing the project specific audit programme and liaising with Contractor’s and Company’s quality representatives and reporting on all quality related activities
• Reporting metrics against Project identified KPI’s.
• Preparing and performing a site based Audit schedule in line with Contractors activities.
• Ensuring a MOC process is applied and tracked
• Assist Contractors in the Completions process
• Assist Commissioning as required
• Manage discipline QC inspectors
• Objective closure of  Waivers via technical/design authority
• Assist in the development of databases for documentation handover
• Perform witness & surveillance checks at test labs, site locations and in line with the Approved ITP

Other requirements
Computer Skills: MSOffice programs (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.);
Languages: fluent Azerbaijani and English.
