Infinity LLC is looking for Merchandising Manager Assistant
 
Key responsibilities:

• Assist in planning division and department sales, markdown, OTB and margin levels.
• Assist in providing buying guidelines to Debenhams UK team.
• Make recommendations on the promotional calendar and sale strategy.
• Recommend optimum space management options based on store trends/department sales density.
• Assist in recommendation retail pricing levels, and sale and markdown percentage.
• Assist in developping strong communication links between the Business Manager and UK merchandise in order to potentialize and drive the business forward.
• Assist in recommendation  and formulate any trading events and ensure relevant collateral is produced and available to create strong projection.
• Maintain and upkeep IT systems in order to carry out the necessary functions needed to complete the processes.
• Ensure optimum lead time versus cost on logistics to drive profit opportunity.
• Maintain commercial approach/awareness by visiting competitors on a regular basis.
• Control of Stockflow/Replenishment.
• Understand and work with currency hedging costs.
• Assist in managing and influence underground offers - MPO's
• Advise and manage size ratios requirements.

Must know:

• Proven experience in a commercial environment, preferably a retail brand
• IT literate in various applications, excellent reporting skills
• Advance Excell knowledge (!) - very important
• Strong analytical/ attention to detail approach (!) very important
• Evidence of strong planning skills.
• Well organized, with a flexible approach.
• An understanding of retail trends.
• An understanding of merchandising tools and practices.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A team player both locally and remotely.
• English speaking (!)
