Weight Controller

AMEC Services Ltd, a major Western Design Engineering and Construction Company involved in Oil and Gas Projects in Azerbaijan is looking for experienced Weight Controller.

Prime responsibilities and duties:

• Input of weight and centre of gravity into database system
• Monthly weight reports.
• Interim weight reports to assist Structural Engineers in Lift Studies
• Monitoring of installed items on construction site
• Conversant with all disciplines of Topsides / Drilling Module fabrication
• Works within the Engineering Department, direct line of contact with Drawing Office Coordinator
• Participate and contribute in all HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) campaigns, initiatives and safety meetings, as required
•  Participate and contribute in ATA (Amec, Tekfen Azfen consortium) personnel development programs (CDCA).

The successful candidates should have:

• Hold relevant qualifications (diplomas, bachelors, masters etc.);
• Advanced knowledge of English and Azeri languages (spoken and written);
• Strong interpersonal & organisational skills.
• Must be conversant with all Disciplines in Offshore Topsides Construction
• Must be Computer literate, and have working knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs     (Word, Excel, Access) and be conversant with AutoCad

Previous experience of working in western company would be beneficial;
