Position title: Structural Checker
Location: Salyan Highway 83, Baku, AZ1083, Azerbaijan

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare, check and update Fabrication Drawings and sketches in accordance with project and company quality procedures.
• Experience with heavy offshore structures (Jackets/ Topsides)
• Knowledge and experience in Piping design/ fabrication isometrics and pipe fitting specifications
• Ensure fabrication drawings contain sufficient material and weld details.
• Ensure fabrication drawings are in line with rolling machine capacities.
• Prepare, check and update Bulk MTO’s.
• Respond to site Queries
• Ensure deliverables comply with relevant procedures and safety regulations
• Ensure that no work outside the scope of the original budget is carried out without approval.
• Ensure deliverables comply with relevant procedures and safety regulations.
• Participate in Quality Audits

Key Job Requirements:

• National Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering,
• Good English communication skills (written & spoken),
• 3-5 years structural draughting checker experience within the Steel Construction or Oil & Gas Industry
• Good understanding of fabrication / construction techniques at fabricators facility.
• Knowledge of international codes and standards such as API, BS, GOST and EEMUA,
• Advanced knowledge of 2Ddraughting package AutoCad.
• Experienced in participating in Quality Audits.
