Vision Fund AzerCredit LLC is seeking a Branch Manager for its Imishli Branch.

Vision Fund AzerCredit LLC (AzerCredit) helps develop the economy of Azerbaijan by providing credit to small entrepreneurs so that they can grow their businesses and improve their economic situation. AzerCredit is one of the largest micro-credit organizations in Azerbaijan, which creates equal employment opportunities for all candidates. Moreover, staff members usually become the main taskforce, which brings innovation, as frequent focus groups with staff are conducted to brainstorm and gather their thoughts and ideas. AzerCredit is currently seeking a Branch Manager for its Imishli Branch.

The position will be based in Imishli branch of AzerCredit and the purpose of the position is to ensure the effective performance of all branch/sub-branch activities within the region.

Purpose of the position:

• To ensure an efficient financial and integration performance of the branch;
• To exchange information with the management and other branches, and to ensure an adequate information flow within the branch;
• To market the products and services of VF AC.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Manages the branch and ensures compliance with all policies and procedures:

1.1. Implements policies, procedures and internal controls at the branch;
1.2. Decides on all operational issues within the framework of existing regulations and management decisions.

2. Supervises branch staff:

2.1. Coordinates and controls the operations of the entire branch;
2.2. Ensures that the branch staff maintain very high morale and adequate and updated training;
2.3. Undertakes annual performance appraisals and staff development plans.

3. Planning:

3.1. Develops the branch business plan and annual work plans and seeks approval from BOD on the projected targets and required resources;
3.2. Adjusts the plan as and when needed.

4. Reporting and communication:

4.1. Performs independent balancing of all records;
4.2. Works with other management members of AzerCredit; 
4.3. Attends branch managers’ meetings, engages in team problem solving, works together on overlapping tasks;
4.4. Provides back-up support to the other branches and head office as needed;
4.5. Communicates with staff on organizational changes.

5. Marketing:

5.1. Plans and initiates promotional measures within the target markets of the branch;
5.2. Implements a customer driven branch approach.

6. Manages overall portfolio growth and portfolio quality:

6.1. Chairs the Branch Credit Committee (BCC) and participates in evaluating, approving, or rejecting loans according to the level of discretion;
6.2. Coordinates on growth areas and projections for disbursements
6.3. Plans and controls the liquidity of the branch;
6.4. Ensures that the targets agreed with the management are reached.

Required Qualification, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• University degree in economics, accounting, business administration;
• At least one year experience in supervisory position;
• Determined personality with initiative, perseverance and the ability to motivate and manage a team;
• Capability and willingness to take responsibility and highly developed sense of rectitude;
• Ready to comply and live up to and in accordance with the organization Ideals and Core Values;
• Be proficient in Microsoft office applications;
• Able to plan and manage finances, including a basic understanding of accounting;
• Be a good trainer, facilitator, mentor, and coach;
• Very good communication and marketing skills;
• Good analytical and problem solving skills.
