Chenot Palace Hotel is currently seeking an experienced Nurse to join their team!

Requirements:

Education: Relevant Academic Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience
Language: Azeri, Russian (English is plus)
Computer skills: Ability to use computer software, including applications to record all clinical data.

Professional/ Personal skills:

• Knowledge of clinical supervision;
• Knowledge of health promotion and its implications;
• Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction;
• Understanding of Clinical Governance and quality issues;
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written;
• Genuine and caring character;
• Good at problem solving;
• Ability to generate client’s trust and confidence;
• Ability to work with physically demanding work;
• Effective team worker;
• Flexibility in shift/working patterns to meet the needs of the service in a developing and changing environment;
• To be responsible to the employer and subject to the Practice complaints procedure.

Job Duties:

• Consult and collaborate with medical doctors and other healthcare practitioners;
• Collect, record, and maintain client information, such as medical history, reports, examination results, medications, patients responses or treatment changes;
• Administer blood and blood product transfusions or intravenous infusions, monitoring patients for adverse reactions;
• Set up, operate or monitor medical equipment and devices such as cardiac monitors and emergency carts;
• Perform diagnostic tests;
• Treat medical emergencies such as heart attacks and strokes;
• Perform emergency medical procedures, such as basic cardiac life support (BLS), advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) and other condition stabilizing interventions;
• Administer medications, treatments and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury;
• Supervise, direct and coordinate licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and certified nurse assistants (CNAs);
• Ensure that all medical and emergency equipment is kept in a safe place and ready to use condition when required and that faulty equipment is reported and replaced;
• Ensure that all medical area is clean by making regular checks as appropriate to maintain a high standard and liaises with the housekeeping services manager as required;
• Maintain confidentiality and impartiality;
• Advise client and promote health education on primary care health issues;
• Be accessible at all times whilst on duty by mobile phone or pager;
• Recommend to client a medical specialist or clinic for specific conditions when necessary;
• Manage resources to service clients as effectively as possible;
• Undertake clinically related administration and non-clerical duties needed for the delivery of high quality medical services of the spa;
• Maintain an up to date professional knowledge and best practice in seeking to improve the quality of services provided to the clients;
• Provide additional services in the event of an emergency within the post holder’s clinical competence;
