IT / Software Project Manager

Position summary:

Our growing company is currently seeking an experienced IT Project Manager. In this role, the IT Project Manager will be responsible for planning of technology projects, managing our team of IT professionals, implementing technology security and the execution of all technology-related tasks and initiatives. The successful candidate will also ensure that project status, issues and successes are communicated to project team, stakeholders, sponsors and all levels of management and documented appropriately.

Responsibilities

- Understanding project scope
- Developing detailed project and resource plans
- Identifying and managing risks
- Managing project team
- Tracking and reporting project progress
- Coordinating meetings
- Working with stakeholders
- Working with subcontractors
- Working with documentation
- Controlling a project from initiation to closure
- Ensuring success

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Information Technology or related field
- At least 3 years of experience in project management
- Good technical knowledge
- Good understanding of project management approaches like Waterfall and Agile
- Good communication skills
- Excellent time management
- Disciplined
- Fluent Azeri language (verbal and written), Good Russian/English language (verbal and written)
