ULU Hospitality Group is a newly established, yet fast-growing company, dedicated to creating a distinct impact on the hospitality industry of Azerbaijan.

At present, the company operates 2 hotels in Qax Region and 2 restaurants in Baku.

EL Resort first five-star hotel, open since 2011 and brand new Yurd Hotel.
Zakura the first Japanese “Izakaya” style restaurant located in the city center of Baku and Novbahar Baku & Novbahar Qax authentic Restaurants, offering traditional Azerbaijani / Qax and European Cuisine.

Vacancy: SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented Social media manager to administer our social media accounts. You will be responsible for creating original text and video content, managing posts and responding to followers. You will manage our company image in a cohesive way to achieve our marketing goals. As a Social Media Manager, we expect you to be up to date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to express our company’s views creatively. Ultimately, you should be able to handle our social media presence ensuring high levels of web traffic and customer engagement.

Responsibilities and duties

• Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
• Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals
• Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news)
• Monitor web traffic metrics
• Collaborate with other teams, like marketing, sales and customer service to ensure brand consistency
• Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews
• Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures and blog layout)
• Research audience preferences and discover current trends
• Design posts to sustain readers’ curiosity and create buzz around new products
• Stay up-to-date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness
• Facilitate online conversations with customers and respond to queries
• Report on online reviews and feedback from customers and fans
• Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics
• Administer all company social media accounts ensuring up-to-date content
• Liaise with writers and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports on web traffic
• Communicate with industry professionals via social media to create a strong network
• Stay up-to-date with new digital technologies and social media best practices
• Provide support in troubleshooting and resolving customer issues and concerns.
• Follow company and departmental policies and procedures
• Other related duties assigned by manager

Qualifications:

• Proven work experience as a Social media manager
• Excellent copywriting skills
• Knowledge of online marketing channels
• Familiarity with web design
• Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video) Computer literate in Microsoft Windows applications (Knowledge of graphic design software is preferred)
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
• Highly responsible & reliable
• Excellent communication skills
• Analytical and multitasking skills
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all

Education / Experience:

• University Degree in a related discipline preferred
• At least 2-3 years of relevant working experiences desired
• Fluent in Azerbaijani, Russian and English (written and verbal)
