Job Title: Information Technologies Administrator

Location: Azerbaijan, Onshore

A future potential vacancy has arisen externally for an Information Technologies Administrator as part of the Onshore Business Unit and is available for Azerbaijani citizens only.

The Information Technologies Administrator will report to the Technical Integrity Manager.

This position carries responsibility to ensure that Company Information Technologies is fit for purpose has a reliability required to keep all operations running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

• Ensure that all hardware is maintained providing maximum uptime
• Ensure that daily support is available to all users
• Ensure that systems and processes are adequate to achieve company strategy
• Coordinate and/or perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, installing hardware, implementing file backups, and configuring systems and applications.
• Monitor and test fixes to ensure problems have been adequately resolved
• Access software updates, drivers, knowledge bases, and frequently asked questions resources on the
• Internet to aid in problem resolution.
• Oversee development and dissemination of help sheets, usage guides, and FAQ lists for end users.
• Respond to enquiries and request for assistance with the Company’s telecommunications, computer systems or PC’s
• Provide assistance in identifying problems, trouble shooting and providing advice and assistance to users
• Travelling to Caspian fleet platforms for offshore systems maintenance

Key Skills/Qualifications:

• Microsoft Windows Operating system and Active Directory
• Strong knowledge of MS office and Lotus Notes
• Industry standard Backup technologies
• Strong PC & Network troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve basic to advanced hardware, software, and connectivity problems quickly.
• Proven technical troubleshooting and performance tuning experience
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and proven ability to work effectively with all organizational levels and subject matter experts
• A flexible work schedule is required in order to provide services
• Strong customer service orientation.
• 5+ years IT experience
• Microsoft certification
• Proficient knowledge of English language (written and spoken)
