System Administrator

Primary skills

∙ Performed installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of UNIX/Linux servers
∙ Manage system storage requirements, access controls and permissions
∙ Analyze performance problems and implemented preventive maintenance procedures
∙ Knowledge of DNS, including diagnostics with UNIX/Linux tools
∙ Setting-up proactive monitoring tools such as Nagios
∙ Knowledge of common scripting languages and configuration management tools
∙ Familiarity with database and cluster management
∙ Applying hotfixes and patches on UNIX/Linux servers
∙ Manage and Maintain the physical hardware and virtual environment / infrastructure

∙ Experience with Installation and configuration of Oracle/MySQL
∙ Experience with Installation and configuration of UNIX/Linux mail systems (sendmail, postfix …)
∙ Experience with Installation and configuration VMware VSphere, vSAN, SRM
∙ Experience with Installation and configuration VEEAM Backup and Replication, VEEAM Orcestrator

Optional skills

∙ Experience with Windows Servers, AD, GPO
∙ Experience with Security and Monitoring software
