Competencies

To physically inspect all components using various measuring equipment to ensure all comply with drawings and technical specifications. Perform Calibration of all in-house measuring equipment and maintain records. Knowledge of external and internal audit requirements. Welding Inspection. Inspection of API and Premium connection, BHA and well head equipments. Calibration of instruments. In-Process and final inspections.

Essential experience and job requirements

Min 12 Years of O&G Industry Machine Shop QA/QC experience, API Spec Q1, 7-1, 5CT, 6A and 16A and Premium Connections to VAM, Tenaris Hydril and Grant Prideco and Process Knowledge. Supervisory Leadership skill, drawing interpretations, Design Calculation as per API Spec 6A and 16A, ASNT Level 2 in MPI & LPI. Sound knowledge in DS1, NS1 & NS2 standards. Knowledge in Hard banding applications (Technogenia, ARNCO, Quick Tip). Programming skills and experience is essential with reference to API 7-1, 5CT, VAM, Tenaris Hydril & Grant Prideco.

Educational Qualifications and Technical Certifications

Engineering Apprenticeship or Equivalent Preferred; ASNT Level 2 certification (MPI and LPI)
