We are currently looking for candidates to fill the following positions: Transformer Field Service Engineer.
Job title: Transformer Field Service Engineer
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Performing installation, retrofit, commissioning and testing activities as required
• Work with Shell and/or Core Form Transformer designs and components internal to the transformer, to assist with any internal transformer repairs as needed
• Double Power Factor Testing
• Transformer Turns Ratio (TTR) testing
• Winding Resistance checks
• Insulation Resistance – Megger Windings & Core
• Insulation Power Factor and Capacitance
• 10kV Excitation
• Sweep Frequency Response Analysis (SFRA)
• Functional testing of control cabinets and troubleshooting control circuits
• Load Tap Changer (LTC) maintenance and repair
• Read, interpret, and understand standards and complex winding configurations and vector diagrams for testing purposes
Qualifications:
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in maintenance, repair, rebuild, rewind equipment such as large distribution transformers, small constant current transformers, etc.
• Experience with field service operations and transformer testing
• Knowledgeable and fully fluent in transformer installation and assembly
• Minimum of a B.S. degree in Science or Engineering from an accredited institution
• Language Skills: Azerbaijani, English, Russian;
• Ability to act as the lead on field projects while communicating clearly and professionally
• Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish projects.
• Ability to prepare field service job/trip reports
• Excellent PC literacy MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
• Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.
• Multitasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in a timely manner.
