Indirect Manager : Director of Human Resources

General Scope of Duty :

The Human Resources Manager will report directly to the General Manager, with a dotted-line (functional) reporting relationship to the Cluster Director of Human Resources. As a member of the Human Resources organization, he contributes a high level of human resource generalist knowledge and expertise for a designated property. He will be accountable for talent acquisition, success / workforce planning, performance management and development for facility employees, using technology efficiently, and coaching/developing others to help influence and execute business objectives in the most efficient manner. He or she generally works with considerable independence, developing processes to accomplish objectives in alignment with broader business objectives. Additionally, he utilizes a Human Resource Business Plan aligned with property and brand strategies to deliver HR services that enable business success.

1. QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: 4-year bachelor's degree in an accredited university in licentiate of law, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related major;
• Education: 4 years’ experience in the human resources, management operations,
• Foreign Language: Excellent level of English to be able to write reports according to international standards.
• Courses and Training: Prior attendance in courses and seminars in the field.
• Computer Literacy: Excellent level of computer skills.
• Special Qualifications: Planning and Organizing, Multi-Tasking, Time Management

2. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

2.1 Executes and follows-up on Employees opinion survey related activities.
2.2 Champions and builds the talent management ranks in support of property and region diversity strategy.
2.3 Translates business priorities into property Human Resources strategies, plans and actions
2.4 Implements and sustains Human Resources initiatives at the facility.
2.5 Coordinates the human capital review process at property and leads succession planning activities on facility and in the market, as appropriate.
2.6 Creates value through proactive approaches that will affect performance outcome or control cost.
2.7 Monitors effective use of IHG website by facility managers and employees.
2.8 Leads and participates in succession management and workforce planning.
2.9 Responsible for Human Resources strategy and execution.
2.10 Serves as key change manager for initiatives that have high employee impact.
2.11 Serves as coach and expert facilitator of the selection and interviewing process.
2.12 Surfaces opportunities in work processes and staffing optimization.
2.13 Makes staffing decisions to manage the talent cadre.
2.14 Develops staffing strategy (in collaboration with hiring manager) relating to hiring practices; consults with hiring manager on compensation, benefits, etc.
2.15 Monitors sourcing process and outcomes of staffing process.
2.16 Ensures managers are competent in assessing and evaluating their employees.
2.17 Leads the planning of the hourly employee total compensation strategy.
2.18 Champions the communication and proper use of total compensation systems, tools, programs, policies, etc.
2.19 Participates in quarterly internal equity analysis; reviews internal equity reports and surface issues needing resolution.
2.20 Creates and implement total compensation management packages/offers, particularly recognition and incentive programs directed towards property priorities.
2.21 Ensures completion of the duties and responsibilities of the properties’ Human Resources staff members, as outlined in applicable job description(s).
2.22 Ensures property Human Resources staff is properly trained in all employee-related human resource information to appropriately respond to property employees.
2.23 Serves as resource to property Human Resources staff on employee relations questions and issues.
2.24 Continually reinforces positive employee relations concepts.
2.25 To predict that all activities and to be purchased all equipment and belongings may create disease for the environment, to join all activities which is organized to protect biological diversity and shares the responsibilities, shares the individual responsibilities in order to increase environment knowledge and to carry on necessary trainings. To provide minimum consumption currently used all stuffs and equipment (paper, printed out etc.).
2.26 To implement necessary warnings and departmental trainings in order to save energy inside the facility. To carry on implementing decisions which were taken for saving energy. To predict effects of environment and efficiency of energy on purchased equipment.
2.27 To implement his responsibilities in order to eliminate and collect waste in a proper way, reduce environmental pollution and harmful effects to the environment and lead to staffs.
2.28 To provide carrying chemicals safely, carrying, storing and using in accordance with laws, controlling reducing chemical dirtiness.
2.29 Carry out all responsibilities related to the quality management and food safety management systems implemented at the facilities.
2.30 Carry out all other duties assigned by managers and hotel management not specified in the job description.
