Tax Accountant (consultant), Tax and Legal Consultancy Group

Responsibilities

You will be involved in:

• Accounting support and outsourcing of accounting function for KPMG clients
• Payroll calculation, preparation of Personal Income Tax reports, Value Added Tax filings, Profit Tax Return
• Preparation of financial, tax, statistical and other corporate reporting forms, performing regular financial and tax reporting closing procedures
• Advising on structuring (or optimization) of tax and accounting function for KPMG’s clients

To qualify for the role a candidate is expected to meet the following requirements:

• Higher education (degree preferably in accounting or finance field)
• At least 1 year of relevant experience
• Knowledge of local/national accounting standards. Knowledge of IFRS is an advantage.
• Fluent Azerbaijani and English language knowledge. Russian language knowledge is an advantage
• Excellent computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Effective team player
• Strong analytical skills and logical thinking
• Attention to details
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and multitasking ability
• Good presentational skills
• Willingness to learn and develop professionally
