Vacancy for Senior Reporting Analyst

A dealership is pleased to announce a vacancy for the position of Senior Reporting Analyst.

Responsibilities:

— Design and prepare monthly financials for all projects as required by users of the reports
— Prepare managerial reports, calculate departmental profits and KPIs for shareholders and headquarters
— Examine and analyze financial data for accuracy and completeness (revenue cycle, capitalized costs, etc.)
— Assist Finance Manager in development of trends and projections of the firm’s financial resources (cash, long-term debts)
— Check the conformance of the reports to the company's policies and procedures
— Assist Finance Manager in the preparation of the company’s monthly cash flows and annual budget
— Monitor effectiveness of internal financial controls
— Communicate and explain accounting issues and evolving accounting guidance to the management team
— Liaise with internal/external auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances
— Implement and maintain finance and reporting procedures
— Support month-end and year-end closing of accounts
— Train and coach junior team members to carry forward all tasks and processes as outlined above
— Participate in other projects/tasks as assigned
— Report to Finance Manager

Requirements:

— Proven experience of minimum of 4 years in accounting and finance and 2 years in reporting role
— Strong experience in implementation of IFRS in entities/projects
— Preference is given to candidates with Big4 experience (financial advisory, assurance Services)
— Knowledge and experience of the managerial reports, calculation of departmental profits, KPIs and bonuses is a considerable advantage
— Proficiency in using office (MS Excel) and accounting applications
— Solid networking and interpersonal skills
— Ability to work in a fast—paced environment
— Excellent knowledge of Azerbaijani, Russian and business proficiency in English is a must
— Professional qualification such as ACCA/CPA/CIMA or similar will be considered an advantage
— Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
— Ability to manage, guide and lead employees
— Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
— Preferred age of 25–38
