INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST

Position Summary

The Information Technology Specialist is responsible for the entire IT area (software, hardware, networking, maintenance, installation, upgrading, etc.) of the facility and offiices, ensuring the services provided are up and running, performing adequately and go in sync with company standards and policies. It is also responsible for the performance and development of the facility’s IT collaborators.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure that the services provided by the HQ office and facility’s IT area go according to company standards and working properly.
• Review and authorize software and hardware installation and upgrades ensuring minimum impact to the facility’s operation.
• Having sure that all IT equipment (servers, computers, office programs, mails, internet connections, wireless system, cash registers, alarm infrastructure, sound systems, CCTV system etc.) and all rlated software are working properly.
• Manage the selection, development and succession of the IT collaborators at the facility.
• Manage IT assets and do necessary inventory and follow up (hardware, software licenses, support equipment, etc.)
• Responsible of IT partners and vendors to ensure the services or products received fulfill operational standards
• Serve as a communicator between HQ and the Facility’s IT team
• Coordination of the overall IT strategy specific to the facility
• Responsible for following up the IT budget of the facility
• Contribute to IT Assets Report
• Prepare and update current Licenses and Gear Report
• Provide solutions to overall IT issues and Maintenance Report
• IT resources development Plan and Performance Evaluation
• 100% uptime of the facility’s technology
• Following up if vendors are complying with SLA (Service Level Agreements) of facility’s technology
• Provide support or assistance for operations team when prompted

Requirements

• Computer Sciences, Information Technology or related
• Bachelor’s Degree or Higher
• Minimum 2 years of experience in IT
• Knowledge of Hardware, Software and Networking equipment and operation
• Structured Programing Skills
• People Management
• Vendor Management
• IT Budget and Forecast
• IT Service Management
• Advanced Level of English and Russian
