Position: Quality Control Specialist
Job description:
1) Execute QC tests for raw materials, pre-mixes and finished goods. Documenting results according to applicable standards and procedures
2) Evaluate problems and make initial recommendations for possible corrective action to supervisor
3) Work with production to identify and resolve quality issues
4) Creating Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and final reports to track on-going R&D projects
5) Assist in preparation of new QC Specifications and provision of information to ensure the on-going accuracy of such documentation.
6) Ensure that test equipment is properly and correctly used, calibrated, and maintained to specified standards and that safe working practices are adopted at all times.
7) Ensure that adequate materials are available in the laboratory in order to fulfil the Quality Control function.
8) Prepare small quantities of product when required for testing purposes.
9) Maintain a high level of laboratory housekeeping.
Requirements:
• Good command of English, both verbal and written (Preferred)
• Microsoft Office user (Essential)
• Bachelor degree in technical discipline (Essential)
• Understanding basics of Chemistry (Essential)
• Quality Control experience (Preferred)
• Knowledge in Quality standards (Preferred)
• Knowledge in handling laboratory equipment (Preferred)
