Job title: VSAT Engineer

Responsibilities

• Installation and maintenance of VSAT terminals at various onshore and offshore locations

Professional Requirements

• Possess a good degree in Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunications Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum of 3-years’ experience in telecommunications, network operations or relevant industry experience
• Overall knowledge of satellite telecommunication industry
• Knowledge of satellite networks theory and terminology
• Experience in installation and maintenance of satellite telecommunication hardware
• Knowledge of networking theory
• Good team player and proactive in problem solving

Language skills

• Russian – fluent
• English – good (shall be able to communicate over the phone, and read technical documentation)

Other requirements

• Shall have good health statement (i.e. pass medical test of suitability for work at offshore locations)
• Experience of work in marine or oil & gas industry is an advantage
