Job Title: Electrical & Instrumentation Superintendent

Include, but are not limited to the following:

Key Responsibilities

• Defining and Implementation of Scope of Work;
• Coordination and implementation the Project Baseline schedule in conjunction with the Project Manager
• Assisting Project Manager with Project Closeout Schedule with Material take offs and Submittal Review
• Providing the Progress Report with Three-Week Look-Ahead Schedule to the Project Manager and field staff
• Providing with daily site information (Daily reports), including Electrical & Instrumentation work in progress, jobsite project progress, jobsite issues, receiving slips for material received, and rental equipment utilization
• Assisting the Project Manager to prepare Variation Orders for the delays or activities which are attributable to Client
• Scheduling, monitoring, and controlling the day-to-day- execution of the Electrical & Instrumentation works, progress and performance of the project.
• Ensuring the Electrical & Instrumentation installation is carried out in accordance with design drawings and specifications
• Working closely with each team member to identify gaps in each discipline
• Working with Electrical & Instrumentation Engineers and site team to survey quantities and measure actual works done
• Working with Electrical & Instrumentation Engineers and site team to prepare Material requisitions according to design drawings and coordinate with PSCM department to purchase correct materials
• Defining all site needs to take prompt action in time
• Ordering the materials in time to avoid causing delay in project
• Inspection of installed plant and documentation prior to setting to work and commissioning;
• Oversee pre-commissioning and commissioning activities;
• Driving the installation, testing and certification of all aspects of the Electrical & Instrumentation installation;
• Recording all inspection and test results on relevant certificates
• Supervising and mentoring field personnel;
• Planning in detail site activities, to ensure these activities are executed in a safe and timely way and meet the agreed project quality plan;
• Assisting in achievement of all project KPI`s;
• Co-ordination & liaising with suppliers, client, in-house functions, site installations and construction teams;
• Maintaining a daily Superintendent Log, tracking day to day activities, delays, project issues, etc.;
• Creating a clear execution installation plan, including planning job task labor, and material deliveries;
• To oversee personnel administration (field staff), including daily timesheets, performance reviews, attendance and time off requests.
• To be responsible for the control and revision of Electrical & Instrumentation job details within the method statement and risk assessments.
• To be ensure that ‘Toolbox talks’ are being effectively delivered on a regular basis and they are relevant to the project;
• To co-ordinate & liaise with subcontractors, client and in-house resources;
• To ensure that all health and safety documentation are in place and meet all rules followed by the Company and Client.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering
• Minimum 8 years of construction project delivery and crew management experience.
• Soft Skills ( MS Offiice, AutoCAD)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong knowledge of Electrical & Instrumentation drawings such as Single Line Diagrams, Wiring & Loop Diagrams, Cable Route, Earthing and Lightning Layouts, Cable & Load Lists, Hook-Ups, P&ID, Cable Lists, Block Diagrams etc.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills
