Sales Manager
Sales Manager handles the sale of software, hardware and IT services to commercial clients.
Duties and responsibilities:
• Attend initial sales meetings and meets the client;
• Determine a client's business requirements and whether the products being considered are suitable;
• Decide whether the software or hardware needs adapting to meet the client's needs;
• Answer any technical questions, the client might have;
• Present his/her findings to a technical team to act on, and then to the client;
• Prepare commercial offers and sales agreements;
• Maintain positive business relationships to ensure future sales;
• Constantly analyze competitors and propose solutions;
• Prepare and deliver sales forecasting reports;
• Arrange appointments and meetings with all groups of perspective clients;
• Concentrate his/her efforts to meet the Quarterly and Annual Sales target;
• Keep up-to-date with trends and developments in the IT industry;
• Generate new business leads through networking and promotional activities;
• Update his/her technical knowledge and skills on a regular basis;
• Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team;
• Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
Skills/Requirements/Experience:
• BS/MS degree in business administration or a related field
• Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
• Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
• Excellent technical knowledge
• A keen interest in IT issues
• Initiative
• Presentation skills
• The ability to write reports and proposals
• Strong business sense and industry expertise
• Negotiating skills
• Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
• Fluency in Azerbaijani, and good written and oral skills in English and Russian
