Enhancing Employability Skills of People with Disabilities programme

This programme is part of BP and its co-venture’s social investment portfolio and will be implemented by the British Council Azerbaijan with the support of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection.

The programme aims at increasing employability prospects and the skills of people with disabilities living in Baku, Azerbaijan. This will be achieved by enhancing the English language, computer and soft skills of the selected project participants. The main target is to make young people more employable equipping them with skills necessary for the world of work. Psychological counselling is a part of the services that will be rendered to the project’s beneficiaries. A thorough needs assessment of the project beneficiaries’ needs will be conducted by the evaluation expert that is intended at rendering counselling services to programme’s beneficiaries throughout the programme’s length. 

This programme will cover a variety of activities that are targeted at improving employability skills of 100 people with disabilities as well as positioning them amongst businesses as potential quality workforce. The project will involve all the relevant decision-makers, businesses as partners into the project. As a result of programme participation, young people with disabilities will enhance their skills and knowledge in certain disciplines that will allow them to become more employable. In order to benefit from the UK expertise the project will involve UK expert to increase awareness on employment of people with disabilities among the businesses and employers in Azerbaijan.

Əlilliyi olan şəxslərin məşğulluq qabiliyyətlərinin artırılması proqramı

Bu proqram BP və onun tərəfdaşlarının sosial investisiya layihələri çərçivəsində həyata keçirilir və British Council tərəfindən Azərbaycan Respublikası Əmək və Əhalinin Sosial Müdafiə Nazirliyinin dəstəyi ilə icra olunur.

Proqramın əsas məqsədi Bakıda yaşayan əlilliyi olan şəxslərin məşğulluq bacarıqlarını inkişaf etdirməklə onların iş imkanlarını genişləndirməkdir. Bu məqsədə nail olmaq üçün layihənin iştirakçıları ingilis dili, kompüter və sosial bacarıqların inkişaf etdirilməsi üzrə təlimlərə cəlb ediləcəklər. Layihə çərçivəsində iştirakçılara həm də psixoloji dəstəyin göstərilməsi və müvafiq məsləhətlərin verilməsi nəzərdə tutulmuşdur. Proqramın həyata keçirildiyi müddətdə proqram iştirakçılarına zəruri istiqamətləndirmə və məsləhət xidmətlərinin təmin edilməsi məqsədilə qiymətləndirmə üzrə ekspert seçiləcək və iştirakçıların bilik və bacarıqları üzrə ehtiyaclarının hərtərəfli qiymətləndirilməsini aparacaq.

Proqram çərçivəsində 100 nəfər əlilliyi olan şəxsin məşğulluq bacarıqlarının inkişaf etdirilməsinə yönəlmiş çoxsaylı tədbirlər həyata keçiriləcək, habelə onların potensial keyfiyyətli işçi qüvvəsi kimi müxtəlif müəssisələr tərəfindən tanınmasına dəstək göstəriləcək. Layihə çərçivəsində müvafiq istiqamətdə fəaliyyət göstərən qərarverici tərəflər, biznes müəssisələri tərəfdaş qismində layihəyə cəlb ediləcək. Proqramda iştirak edərək əlilliyi olan şəxslər müxtəlif istiqamətlərdə bilik və bacarıqlarını artıracaq, bu da öz növbəsində onlara gələcəkdə iş tapmaqda köməklik edəcək. Birləşmiş Krallığın aidiyyatı sahə üzrə təcrübəsindən faydalanmaq üçün British Council Birləşmiş Krallıqdan olan təcrübəli eksperti Azərbaycana dəvət edərək bizneslərin və işəgötürənlərin bu istiqamətdə məlumatlılığının artırılmasını təmin edəcək.
