Azerbaijan Tourism Board (Milli Turizm Təbliğat Bürosu) is a newly established entity under the State Tourism Agency and is national tourism organization. Our core tasks include the promoting Azerbaijan as a holiday destination, innovative marketing in the most internationally promising markets and the transfer of our knowledge of guests and markets to the domestic tourism industry. In this way we make an important contribution to the competitiveness of the holiday destination Azerbaijan.

We are looking for an Accountant who will assist Finance team in performing below mentioned responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee daily financial activities
• Prepare and submit statutory reports as required by local legislation
• Review payments and backup for accuracy
• Review journal entries for accuracy and completeness
• Read, interpret and apply relevant accounting principles and practices
• Responsible for daily maintenance of financial software systems
• Oversee inventory movement
• Deliver timely and accurate information related to special projects and ad hoc reporting as directed
• Perform other duties as assigned by Line Manager

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree and 1-3 years of work experience in respective field.
• Must be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.
• Azerbaijan and English verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
