Job Summary:

We undertake a range of interesting and intellectually stimulating commercial, corporate and litigious matters. JUNIOR LAWYER will be part of the legal team responsible for managing day-to-day operations of the firm, including provision of services to firm’s clients and assisting in implementation of legal projects. You will be given a great deal of responsibility and required to complete a range of tasks. You will gain experience and enjoy the firm culture.

Major duties:

• Assist with drafting and reviewing various contracts;
• Assist in representing Clients in governmental bodies;
• Assist with client relationship management, including drafting correspondence to clients;
• Provide support to the team in implementing various legal projects;
• Prepare legal research and insights;
• Prepare legal opinion on various aspects of Azerbaijani legislation;
• Organize and maintain legal documents;
• Other related tasks.

Essential requirements:

• Education – Bachelor’s degree and/or Master’s degree in Law.
• Experience – At least 2 years of relevant experience (work as volunteers, internships can be accepted, subject to available references).
• Language – Fluent in Azerbaijani; in addition, at least intermediate level of English and Russian.
• Technical & Personal Skills:
o Competence in Microsoft Word and Outlook;
o Developed drafting, communication and research skills;
o A strong team player with a curious and proactive approach.

• Working hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm, 5 days a week on working days.
