Job Title: Rope Access Level 1

Duties & Responsibilities:
Include, but are not limited to the following:
To be responsible for inspection of rope access equipment. Assistance in rigging of Rope Access equipment and non-standard operations, under the guidance of Level 3.
To perform tasks under the supervision of an IRATA approved Level 3 Supervisor, including Inspection and use of associated height work safety equipment, Safe use of hand and power tools.
Proper use and making of rope knots, hitches, bends and splices.
Safe and proper use, inspection and maintenance of Fall Arrest equipment.
To comply with all Company and National legislative requirements, HSE and QA Management Systems.
To maintain Log Book as per company and IRATA Requirements
Responsible for carrying out work activities in accordance with specific work instructions and client permit to work requirements.
Responsible for day to day liaison with client's on-site staff.
Responsible for carrying out work activities in compliance with the company management system requirements.
Responsible for carrying out work activities in compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and Client management system requirements, including training.
Responsible for actively contributing to Task Specific Toolbox Talks and Risk Assessment activities.
Responsible for advising the company on-site Charge-hand of any site modifications relevant to the assigned work scope, including marking up 'As Built' drawings.
Responsible for carrying out ad-hoc duties as requested by company management.
Responsible for timely submission of Client and/or company 'approved' timesheets.
Education/Experience and Qualification:
High school diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
IRATA approved Rope Access Level 1 Assessment
COMPEX Ex01 to Ex04 (desirable)
Offshore Survival (BOSIET)
Experience in a similar position within the Oil & Gas Industry is preferred
Previous offshore Electrical and Rope Access/ Height Experience is desirable
Post apprenticeship work in an industrial environment
Good Command of English and Azerbaijani
