Pastry Chef

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting to the Executive Chef, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:                   

• Maintaining quality and consistency levels of production and presentation in the Pastry Department
• Setting and enforcing cleanliness, sanitations and health and safety standards within the Pastry Department
• Leading, mentoring, training, coaching and taking an active role in the development of the Pastry team
• Limiting waste through monitoring of ordering, par levels, production and controls
• Ensuring productivity of Pastry Department through organization, training, coaching and mentoring
• Setting and maintaining sanitation, hygiene and safety standards
• Adhering to budgetary requirements in Food cost, expenses and payroll
• Establishing standardized recipes that are utilized and followed by all team members
• Being a key player in dessert menu development and implementation of outlet dessert menus with consideration to outlet concept, food trends, JD Power results and Food Cost
• Developing, implementing and monitoring action plans to improve all key pillars (CES, JD Power, GOP)
• Additional duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous Pastry experience in a senior role
• Ability to communicate in Azeri/ and English
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Passion for culinary arts and Guest service/interaction
• Able to develop strong working relationships with both Guests and colleagues
• Strong developer
