Cost Control Specialist

Responsibilities:

• The preparation of internal cost / value reports on a monthly basis to satisfy the requirements of the senior quantity surveyor / commercial manager and any other reports that may be required;
• The preparations of valuations / applications for payment on a monthly basis with full supporting documentation in an efficient and timely manner and in accordance with the contract;
• The preparation of cost reports to the client on a monthly basis ;
• Encouraging and developing a culture of contractual awareness within the junior commercial site team;
• Providing assistance, support and guidance to junior staff on commercial issues;
• Having to attend internal financial meetings as / when required;
• Other relevant duties assigned by the line manager. 

Requirements:

• Language skills good English, Azeri/Turkish and preferable also Russian
• Background in procurement for electrical or mechanical equipment or installations or any other technical items
• Contractual knowledge
• Very good Excel
• Previously worked for a contractor (preferable)
