Job Description

• Support the SBFIC Country Representative in Baku regarding the management and organization of projects in cooperation with partner financial institutions in Azerbaijan
o Build and manage relationships with partner organizations and their key personnel
o Support the project planning with SBFIC partner financial institutions within the scope of the “Responsible Finance” program
o Manage and review (and prepare as assigned) reporting on relevant cooperation project activities
o Conduct research and collect relevant data on financial institutions and the financial sector in Azerbaijan
o Prepare reports on relevant financial sector topics

• In line with own level of expert knowledge: provide advisory / consulting to SBFIC partner financial institutions in Azerbaijan (banks, non-bank financial institutions and associations of financial institutions) within the scope of the “Responsible Finance” program

• Quality control and support of (international) short-term experts conducting project activities for SBFIC partner financial institutions within the scope of the “Responsible Finance” program

• Support with trainings and capacitation of multipliers at SBFIC partner financial institutions
o In line with own level of expert knowledge: prepare and conduct trainings and train-the-trainer seminars for applicable training formats developed under the “Responsible Finance” program
o Support the training expert in development of training formats and methodology suitable to target group
o Quality control for SBFIC trainings conducted by multipliers

• Implementation of other tasks as assigned

Required qualifications:

• University degree in banking (economics/finances);
• At least five-year experience in the banking sphere;
• Excellent command of English and Azeri, written and verbal (German and Russian would be preferable);
• Good writing skills; high standard of accuracy and consistency;
• Full computer literacy;
• Strong organizational skills and sense of responsibility;
• Ability to prioritize own work and to work on own initiative;
• Self-motivated, reliable, energetic;
• Good interpersonal and communication skills;
• Willingness to learn and perform new tasks;
