Title:    Junior IT Systems Engineer

JOB SUMMARY:

Theoretical and practical knowledge of modern programs and technical platforms, information security and general safety. The ability of operating electrical equipment, assembling it from separate components and putting into operation, in own are of responsibility. Knowledge and observance of electrical safety rules; providing regular inspection of access control and video surveillance systems to ensure their operability; ability to work with all types of Security System equipment and able to perform basic repair and maintenance in accordance with manufacture recommendation; promptly resolve any problems arising during the operation of the Security System equipment.

JOB DUTIES

• At the SOCAR plant participate in the implementation of software and technical packages required for the creation, operation and management of Automated Control Systems; ensure their subsequent reliable and uninterrupted operation;
• At the SOCAR plant directly participate in installation technical security system equipment and components, including Access Control, CCTV, metal detectors and scanners and all other equipment’s specified in requirements in Security Plan;
• Participate in the selection of appropriate software tools and technical equipment for access and video surveillance systems required for the implementation of various projects, as well as in the preparation of relevant technical documentation;
• Monitoring console alerts for errors, failures, or problems;
• Follow all safety rules during installation, commissioning and operation of the Security System;
• Reviewing system logs;
• Able to read electrical diagrams;
• According to relevant instructions, able to organize the activities of a task area (or a system) for which the management assigned him/her responsible;
• Participate in the development of technical documentation, including the topology, required for the operation of systems and network.

REQUIREMENTS

Functional

• Understanding of Electronic Access Control System, CCTV system, Cyber Control system philosophies and all related equipment used within these systems;
• Ability to read and clearly understand the equipment manuals and procedures for integration of any changes in the existing system, if required;
• Ability to identify falls in the equipment and in the system and eliminate them;
• Upgrade the existing Control System, if required, integrating an additional equipment in the system;
• Ability to use appropriate software to prepare sketches and draw any required system modifications to be incorporated in the procedures.

Education and experience

• Higher technical education (Mathematics, IT, Automation);
• Good knowledge of Azerbaijani, Russian and English languages are required;

• Multitasking, ability to meet tight deadlines.
