Budget & Reporting Specialist
Job description:
• Assist in developing and maintaining the budgeting policies and procedures manual
• Controlling and approving the operation expenses documents in daily basis and aligning with the Budget control procedures;
• Compare actual to budgeted results at the end of each reporting period, and report on significant variances;
• Perform month end closing activities such as revenue accounting, expense accounting, account reconciliation, etc.;
• Responsible for the preparation of the IFRS Financial Statements;
• Assisting in analytical review of financial statements;
• Supporting management's decision taking process with ad-hoc reporting and analysis;
• Take initiative to improve financial processes & management reporting;
• Providing support to external auditors;
Requirements:
• Minimum 2-3 years of financial reporting and budgeting experience;
• Advanced degree in finance, economics, or related field;
• Experience in budgeting and budget planning including development of annual budgets, forecasting and variance analysis;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel;
• Language Proficiency in Azerbaijani and English,
• Knowledge of Russian is welcomed;
• Excellent written and oral communication skills;
• Strong analytical skills;
• Ability to multitask and meet constant deadlines;
• Detail oriented and proven ability to assimilate new information quickly.
