Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB) is Azerbaijan’s national tourism organization. Our core tasks include the management of the "Holiday in Azerbaijan" brand, innovative marketing in the most internationally promising markets and the transfer of our knowledge of guests and markets to the domestic tourism industry. In this way we make an important contribution to the competitiveness of the holiday destination Azerbaijan.
IT Manager is a mid-senior position with the Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB).
The ideal candidate has a passion for state-of-the-art technology development, a strong background in leading technology infrastructure management/expansion for both national and international offices and clear understanding of IT development processes and web technologies.
Duties:
• Manage the team of IT Specialists and Project Coordination Specialists
• Responsible for the continuous operation, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all current IT Environment including Network Elements (LAN/WAN), Systems, Applications. IP-Phone infrastructure , Security Systems
• Oversees all help desk activities to support Head office and Branches
• Create and Manage Logical Access Control Process for the IT Environment
• Ensuring that the network (LAN/WAN) infrastructure is up and running.
• Involve in Development and implementation of IT policies and procedures
• Create and Manage systems maintenance processes, such as system back-up, recovery and file maintenance
• Responsibility for documenting the configuration of the system
• Guiding and Leading Project Team Members for writing technical specifications for all IT projects initiated by the organization
• Manage project planning, staffing, scheduling of the works related with various IT Development Projects in close cooperation with Project Coordination Specialists
• Manage hardware and software vendor relationships
• Creating control and follow-up processes for Outsourced Development Projects and Project Suppliers
• Providing Reports to the Senior Management on Projects’ Statuses
Requirements:
• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent education and experience
• Progressive IT experience 5+ years, including experience in managing team members (2+ years)
• Knowledge of IT Development Methodologies(Traditional / Agile) and Understanding Web Technologies
• Project management, organizational and time management skills, Ability to manage multiple cross-functional project simultaneously
• Ability to act as a product owner in different IT Development and IT infrastructure projects
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and evaluative skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong experience in configuring, monitoring, and supporting server and network infrastructure, Hands on Experience with Network Administration/VPN and knowledge on Storage Hardware as well as Virtualization
• Knowledge on Microsoft Server Environment (configuration, administration, Troubleshooting AD, DNS, DHCP)
• Knowledge on Database (My-SQL/MS-SQL) and Operating Systems (Linux/Windows)
• Knowledge on Information Security and Industry Best Practices
• Certificates on related fields is advantage
• Excellent Azeri, English verbal communication and written skills
