Job Title: Junior System Administrator

Job Description:

• IT support for all users within the company
• Setup and manage heterogeneous distributed backup system. 
• Maintain infrastructure: networking, virtual desktops, email services, hardware, software, and licensing.
• Large scale server cluster planning, setup and load testing and optimization. 
• Troubleshoot and research solutions to optimize hardware and software bottlenecks. 
• Setup and configuration of desktop computers in support of IT Desktop Management projects and activities. 
• Determine the root causes of problems and work proactively to address them.
• Manage / implement company technology projects (e-commerce, network upgrades, Virtual Desktops, etc).
• The sysadmin is on call when a computer system goes down or malfunctions, and must be able to quickly and correctly diagnose what is wrong and how best to fix it. They may also need to have teamwork and communication skills; as well as being able to install and configure hardware and software.
• Analyzing system logs and identifying potential issues with computer systems, Adding, removing, or updating user account information, resetting passwords,etc, Answering technical queries and assisting users., Ensuring that the network infrastructure is up and running.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Continuous experience in IT system administration for more than 5 years.
- Bachelor degree in computer science is preferred.
- Minimum three or more years of experience.
- Experience with back up tools.
- Expertise in software such as Microsoft, Unix, Linux, Oracle and db management system software such as Apache.
- Expertise in software such as Microsoft, Unix, Linux, Oracle and db management system software such as Apache Hadoop, Apache Hive, MySQL, and NoSQL
- Experience and skills in development environment such as Microsoft.Net framework, Ruby and etc.
- Track/Monitor and record information such as memory usage, load average and etc to see patterns and look for things out of the ordinary and troubleshooting issues. 
- Experience In network monitoring software such as Wireshark and Nagios.
- Quick learner and ability to adapt to business requirements
- Language skills - working proficiency in two languages: English and minimum either Azerbaijani or Turkish

Bonus Points:

• Good understanding software development process, everyday duties will include cooperation with development and QA teams.
• Good skills in scripting languages (Bash, Python, etc).
• non-SQL databases (Mongo, Redis...)
• Working or experience with AWS, Digitalocean or Azure (or same like to another cloud services)
• Working or experience with WHM (CPanel), Plesk or DirectAdmin
• Experience with NGinx, Apache,  MariaDB and MySQL configuration and optimization
• Familiarity with Protocols (HTTP, FTP, SSH, SSL, MySQL, POP3, IMAP, SMTP)
• Cisco certified network
• Microsoft certified sys admin
• Red Hat/RHCT
• CompTIA Server +
• VMware Certified Associate
