A young and dynamic hotel management company in Azerbaijan managing a world-class portfolio of hotels and resorts ABSHERON Hotel Group is looking for Executive Housekeeper for one of its Hotels.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage all functions related to the cleanliness of the hotel, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house non-kitchen areas, as well as the laundry and dry-cleaning operation (hotel linen, uniforms and guest laundry).
• Oversee and assist in the preparation and update of the Housekeeping Department Operations Manual.
• Conduct regular communications meetings and ensure that departmental briefings and meetings are effective and conducted as necessary.
• Ensure that the use of new technology and equipment is explored and implemented wherever appropriate.
• Ensure that all Housekeeping associates deliver the brand promise and provide exceptional guest service at all times.
• Handle all guest and internal customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, following through to make sure problems are resolved satisfactorily.
• Approve all purchase requests and invoices for Housekeeping related expenses.
• Maximize associate productivity through the use of multi-skilling, multi-tasking and flexible scheduling to meet the financial goals of the business as well as the expectations of the guests.
• Assist in the preparation of the Annual Business Plan for Rooms.
• To be responsible for the inventory of guest supplies, cleaning supplies, printing and stationary for the rooms, linen, uniforms, etc.
• Carry out inventory-taking of supplies and operating equipment as required by the Finance Department.
• Conduct frequent and thorough inspections of guest rooms and Rooms areas in general, together with the Front Office Manager and Assistant Managers - Housekeeping.
• Works closely with other management personnel in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the hotel and satisfaction of hotel guests.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• 5 years in a similar position and must have experience within hotel operations.
• Must hold a University Degree or equivalent.
• Fluent Azerbaijani, English.
• Positive attitude and good communication skills.
