HVAC Design Engineer

Our company is currently looking for a “HVAC Design Engineer” to work under the following conditions:

Work Location: one of regions of Azerbaijan (Onshore)

Type of Assignment: Contract

Contract Duration: Permanent

Work Schedule: 5 days a week based on 8 hours per day

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: negotiable

Candidate age: 35-55

Duties and responsibilities:

• Assist with engineering design project planning (i.e., conceptual design through construction drawing development);
• Complete code required energy compliance and LEED certifications;
• Conduct load calculations, energy analysis, economic analysis, design and layout of equipment, duct and piping system design;
• Complete applications engineering including psychometrics, refrigeration, acoustics, and controls systems;
• Assist with coordination of design and installation with Project Management, Construction and Service departments;
• Field engineering: assist with project execution, site surveys, trade coordination, scheduling, document management and problem solving;
• Computer 2D and 3D modeling of HVAC systems utilizing the latest modeling software;
• Assist or complete project estimating, proposal writing, and client interaction;
• Other duties as assigned by Manager or Executive(s).

Desired experience:

• BS in Mechanical Engineering / Environment Engineering or Construction Management;
• Minimum 5 years of experience with HVAC design;
• Excellent understanding of Engineering fundamentals;
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (or similar drafting software);
• Self-starter and strong desire to succeed;
• Individual must be a responsible person, able to multi-task and regular attendance is required;
• Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing;
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written - e-mails, project memos, reports, etc.);
• Excellent organizational skills;
• Positive attitude and good work ethic;
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment;
• Willingness to travel to project sites, sometimes out-of-town;
• Valid driver’s license.
