Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) Planning Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Understanding the Scope of work, contractual Start and Finish dates of the Project;
• Understanding the deliverables of various disciplines and establishes the procedure for getting the progress from various disciplines;
• Understanding the Major Milestones of the project and review progress submitted by the disciplines;
• Establishing the Progress Measurement weightages for Phase / Disciplines and Activities;
• Getting the schedules from disciplines and  updating the schedule;
• Preparation of schedule in consultation with various departments and prepare Weekly & Monthly Progress Reports;
• Planning resources required for the project;
• Getting the baseline Schedule sign off from the customer;
• Distribute the baseline schedule to various disciplines.

Requirements:

• Adequate qualifications and training in planning software;
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience working within construction industry. MEP knowledge highly beneficial;
• History of working with projects such as Commercial, Hospitality and Retail;
• Proficient in planning software such as Primavera.
