Job Title: Material Inspector

TWI in Azerbaijan is providing Inspection and NDT Services (3rd party Inspection), Consultancy services of Material, Corrosion Engineering, Research and Consultancy, Failure investigation, Structural Integrity assessment, Welding Engineering, Engineering Facilities (Procurement) WPS & PQR, WQT and international training & Certification (www.twi-global.com).

Responsibilities:

• Report to Chief inspector;
• Attend all HOLD points as per ITP requirements;
• Monitor receipt inspection, storage and preservation of Project materials, packages, consumables and raw materials;
• Review of material`s certification and data books;
• Witness reconciliation of materials;
• Check temperature and humidity in ‘Controlled stores’ for sensitive materials and equipment;
• Assist and advise contractor inspector`s on code / specification requirements for storage and preservation;
• Report non-compliances and unsafe acts observed
• Compile daily and weekly reports.

Requirements:

• Citizenship of the Republic of Azerbaijan
• VOIN;
• 4 years / + of relevant experience;
• Good command of English;
• Knowledge of safety legislation and regulations;
• Salary is Negotiable.
