We’re looking for a Copywriter to join our growing creative team. Being part of McCann Worldgroup, we’re the biggest, oldest and most professional global network communications agency in Azerbaijan, delivering marketing solutions that grow and transform brands and businesses. At McCann, we believe that creativity without truth is nothing. So we're looking for someone with the right combination of skills necessary to create impactful stories that deliver client’s message in a truly persuasive way. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

•Highly proficient in spoken and written Azerbaijani and English.
•Knowledge of Russian language is desirable.
•Excellent short-form and long-form writing skills in a variety of voices and tones.
•Solid grammar, editing and proofreading capabilities with attentiveness to details.
•Sense of responsibility and willingness to push your craft, get your hands dirty and make great things.
•Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple project at once and meet tight deadlines.
•Advanced usage skills of Microsoft Word / Excel / Powerpoint.
•Experience in marketing, advertising or social media is desirable.
•Higher Education / Western Education is a big plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Work closely with Creative Director and collaborate with other agency team members from Creative, Account, Strategic departments to produce smart and powerful work.
•Write short and long format copy as appropriate to meet projects marketing and communications objectives in a broad spectrum of advertising disciplines (Print, TV, Radio, Web, Social Media etc.).
•Develop communication campaign slogans / tag lines.
•Develop scenarios and scripts for TV/Digital commercials.
•Work closely with Art Director / Designers to ensure copy and visuals equally support each other.
•Be responsible for editing and proofing variety of material ls during all project phases.

SALARY: 800–1500 AZN. To be decided depending on qualifications.
