Position: Translator
Salary: 400-500 AZN
Job description:
- Read through original material and rewrite it in the target language, ensuring that the meaning of the source text is retained
- Use specialist dictionaries and reference books to find the closest equivalents for terminology and words used
- Consults with subject matter experts and other colleagues in order to understand specialized concepts and translate them appropriately
- Translates a variety of documents including technical, scientific and commercial materials
- Attend conferences and meetings and act as official translator to mediate discussion
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor degree (Translation is preferable)
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Ability to work with deadlines
- Organizational skills
- Good knowledge of Microsoft office programs
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday: 8:30 - 17:30
- Saturday: 10:00 – 16:00
