DEPUTY BRANCH MANAGER

COMPANY PRESENTATION

Founded in 2009, Capago International is the exclusive agent for the management of Schengen visa applications on behalf of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development (M.A.E.D.I.) in South Africa, Kuwait, Qatar and Azerbaijan from October 2017.

Capago International is also the service provider of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in South Africa. Each year, we assist more than 150 000 applicants in the filing of their visa applications for Europe.

OFFER DETAIL

The Deputy Branch Manager's principal mission consists of managing and overseeing the operations of the Capago Azerbaijan branch and performing the role of Consulate Liaison Officer, between Capago and the Consulate which Capago serves, whenever is required.

In the position of Deputy Branch Manager, the successful candidate will be required to:

● Manage all branch operations.
● Oversee team management in conjunction with Supervisor.
● Ensure the daily production is of excellent quality.
● Facilitate communication between the Consulate and Capago.
● Attend key meetings with the Consulate.
● Expeditiously respond to Consulate's queries regarding files, requirements or procedures.
● Transmit Consulate instructions and ensure their enforcement within operations.
● Update rules regarding visa processing as per Consulate's instructions.
● Address particular sensitive complaints from clients which can not be handled by the Supervisor.
● Manage appointment availability on the Capago internal regulatory tool.
● Manage resources and finances in conjunction with Branch Manager and Finance Officer.
● Define staffing needs in conjunction with Supervisor and file staffing requests with Management team.
● Participate in the recruitment process as and when required.
● Plan and conduct general staff meetings in conjunction with Supervisor.
● Define training needs with the assistance of the Supervisor and highlight them to the relevant Training department.
● Conduct disciplinary actions in conjunction with Supervisor when necessary.

The Deputy Branch Manager reports directly to the Branch Manager in their respective branch.

REQUIRED DIPLOMAS

● Minimum : University Degree in Business Administration & Management or similar field of study.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

● Proof of at least 3 years experience in an Operations Manager position, or senior office management position.

SKILLS REQUIRED

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
● Excellent command of the French language
● Excellent decision-making skills
● Excellent knowledge and proficiency in IT tools, in particular the Microsoft Office package (Excel, Word etc)
● Excellent organizational capacity
● Ability to be versatile, flexible and adaptable
● Ability to be very reactive
● Ability to take initiative
● Ability to be methodological and rigorous
● Ability to resist stress
● Possess a strong sense of positive, team spirit
● Very good command of English required too
