Job Title: Purchasing Assistant

Location: Absheron district, Baku-Shamakha highway, 17 km, Baku, Azerbaijan

Department: Purchasing and Administration

Reports to: Purchasing and Administration manager

Receives work assignments: Purchasing and Administration manager

Subordinate: No

Works with:

Inside of company: All departments
 
Outside of company: Suppliers

Requirements:

• Education: High Education (Economics)
• Experience: Minimum 1 years of relevant experience
• Language: Azeri, Russian, English (all fluent)
• Computer skills: Good computer literacy (MS Office)

Job Description:

• Reviews purchase requests according to approved specifications.
• Prepares bids and selects vendors according to policies and procedures set up for purchasing operations.
• Reviews market information and conducts marketing and needs studies.  Develops recommendations for future purchases under contracts or other means in accordance with conclusions based on such studies.
• Conducts trend analyses by reviewing special economic and market segmentation studies.
• Achieves financial objectives by scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
• Conduct purchase order reconciliations with the vendor base to ensure accuracy and timeliness of order delivery
• Liaison with operations personnel to reconcile issues regarding data discrepancies in order to maintain proper purchasing, sales, shipping/receiving and inventory accounting
• Provide an exact date of transportation/order the volume of trucks according to loaded products
• Provide determination of the cost of goods and services of the company, analysis of prices,
tracking and delivering the received ones.
• Provide order tracking, uploading, shipping/receiving and negotiate with the planning staff regarding the inconsistencies in inventor accounting issues
• Answering inquiries about product availability and delivery dates
• Provide daily tracking reports to other departments
• Provide regular audits with the procurement database for timely and accurate delivery of orders
