The International School of Azerbaijan, more commonly known as TISA, was founded in 1996. The school aims to prepare students to be independent, life-long learners and to acquire the problem-solving skills and knowledge necessary for educational success. Currently we are looking for a Teacher of English as an Additional Language (EAL) in Lower Primary School and Early Learning Centre to start as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting language development of early language learners
Developing relationships with students
Collaboration with the EAL team and home room teachers
Communication with and reporting to parents
Curriculum planning, delivery and assessment

Essential Characteristics

University Degree
Qualification in Teaching English
Excellent English Language knowledge (near native level)
Three years of teaching experience, some of which should be with young learners

Desired Characteristics

PYP experience and training
Experience in international schools
